The choice of clay body, thickness of glaze application, firing process and temperature will affect the fired finish.

General Appearance of Alabaster
Cone 6: A semi-opaque, soft white matte glaze that breaks over texture.
Cone 10: Color darkens to variegated light gray/purple.
- This glaze has a satin finish.
- Using this glaze allows to you pick up the characteristics of the clay body due to its white, semi-opaque finish.
- This glaze combines really well with 2 coats of Stroke and Coat glazes on top.
