TOXIC! Use with Caution!

Also known as cupric carbonate, Copper Carbonate is a blue-green compound forming a part of the verdigris patina that is found on weathered brass, bronze, and copper.  It was formerly much used as a pigment, and it is still in use for artist's colors.  The powder may irritate your eyes and can be toxic if swallowed.
