Stoneware matte glazes range from solid shades to those that create interesting color variations as they move and break. Application thickness is the key to making mattes work for you.
Cone 5/6 to 10.
General Appearance
Cone 6: Tea Dust is formulated to produce a rust, semi-gloss glaze mottled with golden flecks. Lighter coats will produce a semi-transparent rust color with little to non-visible gold flecks.
Cone 10: Color darkens.
Tips:
- Use three or more coats to produce a more prominent mottled effect with the glaze breaking over texture.
- Always test prior to use.
Dinnerware Safe.
