Mason Stains® (by Mason Color Works)

 

Mason Stains® (by Mason Color Works) are beautiful ceramic pigments produced by compounding calcinated stains (each a different mix of oxides).  Combining these stains produces additional colors, referred to as "blended" pigments, which allow for a wider palette range. 

These stains are preferably not used in zinc-containing glazes or underglazes.  They tend to turn brown in such cases.

Please note that the color samples shown may vary from actual colors.  Every effort was made to make them as accurate as possible.  However, due to many factors including individual monitor settings, these examples should only be used as a reference point.

The price listed is the per pound cost.  Smaller quantities are available.  Stains are available by the ounce -- just place any quantity in your Cart, and specify how much you would like to order in the Shipping Requests box of your Cart, and we will make the necessary adjustments.
